The most effective way to stop the Iranian nuclear program is through economic sanctions, Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman told Israel Radio's Farsi station on Tuesday morning.
"That's how it was with Libya and North Korea," he said.
Unfortunately, however, "the Iranian people are the ones who will pay the price for the sanctions," he added. "Today, there is already fuel rationing, unemployment and inflation. All the large banks in Iran are on the verge of bankruptcy."
