French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Tuesday that if the world would allow Iran to produce nuclear weapons, the entire [Midde East] region will be shaken and a war could break out. Speaking at the United Nations headquarters in New York City, Sarkozy said that "there will not be peace in the world if the international community would stutter in the face of the proliferation in nuclear weapons. If we allow Iran to have such weapons - we will cause unreasonable risk to the stability of the region and the whole world."
