Top US officer suggests Israeli strike at Iran would be high-risk

The top US military officer says an Israeli strike on Irananian nuclear facilities would be a high-risk move and it could destabilize the Middle East. Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is refusing to say what Israel has told him about any intentions to strike Iran. But asked whether he was concerned about such a possibility, he said Wednesday that just about every move in that region is a high-risk move. Mullen says it is a very unstable part of the world and that he does not need it to be more unstable than it already is.
