The smash international hit TV show Fauda will be returning for a third season, YesTV confirmed on Tuesday.
According to Ynet, which first reported the move, the third season will air sometime in 2019. YesTV confirmed the decision, an unusual one in Israel considering the second season has yet to even hit airwaves. But Fauda is no ordinary Israeli show – the military thriller has received acclaim around the world and been picked up by Netflix as an original series.

as one of the best TV shows of 2017. The political thriller shot in Hebrew and Arabic has received critical acclaim across the globe.
The second season of the hit show, created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, will premiere in Israel on December 31, New Year’s Eve. But Netflix has yet to announce when the second season will air on its platform for the millions of viewers around the globe waiting breathlessly.
A spokeswoman for Netflix did not respond to a request for comment on Tuesday; earlier the streaming service said it would air sometime in the first three months of 2018.
So far, YesTV has aired two trailers for the upcoming second season, which show all the action, drama and shooting that viewers have come to expect.Fauda
