The former US Ambassador to the UN said that people can always say the American peace plan is released too soon or too early, “you can’t win in this situation.”

Former US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley spoke on Channel 12 News on Sunday evening and said that regarding the "Deal of the Century", “it takes two hands to clap," meaning that unless the Palestinians and the Israelis are willing to take part in the peace process it will not happen.
The so-called "Deal of the Century" is causing a great deal of speculation as the details had not yet been released. Early reports suggest it includes Israel annexing large swaths of the West Bank as well as a tunnel to be dug between Gaza and the West Bank, however these reports have not been confirmed.
Haley said those who voice concern that the release of the plan at this moment ahead of the Israeli March elections is an attempt to sway voters in favor of Netanyahu are incorrect as people can always say the American peace plan is released too soon or too early, “you can’t win in this situation.”
Haley praised Israel’s ambassador to the UN Danny Danon and said she still speaks with him often.
She is in town for an event supporting the Israel Center on Addiction.
