Report: Israeli who crossed over to Lebanon found by Lebanese

If true, the Lebanese army currently holds an Israeli citizen captive in unusual circumstances.

The American citizen who crossed over into Lebanon on Tuesday was found by Lebanese army forces, the Hezbollah-affiliated Al Mayadeen television channel reported on Thursday.
On Tuesday, it was reported that a lone man dressed in an IDF uniform was spotted in southern Lebanon with a box full of pages printed in Hebrew.
Lebanese social media reported that the man is not an Israeli citizen, but a foreign national who was working with “the Zionist entity.”

One report claimed that he threw the pages at locals who he encountered and fled the scene.
On Lebanese social media, an alleged picture of the man is in circulation; reports say that he was photographed while shopping for clothes.

The terrorist group Hezbollah released on its social media, information stating that he was arrested in the city of Tyre and is said to be an American Jew.

Allegedly, he attempted to cross over into Lebanon via the village of Ayta ash Shab, the same village from which a Hezbollah unit attacked IDF forces and starting the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
IDF forces canvassed the norther border on Tuesday using helicopters, and Lebanese army forces and Hezbollah units searched for the man on the Lebanese side of the border.
It remains unclear what motivated him to cross into Lebanon.
