Police arrived at the scene and began searching for the man, who was found screaming "fire."

The man did not heed repeated calls to stop, continuing to threaten the police even following the use of a taser gun on the suspect.

However, once the suspect was arrested, the threats stopped.

The suspect's wife told police that Jesus had appeared to him and told him to destroy all of his credit cards and travel to northern Israel.

Following his arrest, the suspect was brought before a judge in Nazareth, who extended his arrest until Tuesday.
