11 Palestinians wounded during demonstration near Karni crossing

Eleven Palestinians were wounded by IDF troops during a demonstration held near the Karni crossing, Israel Radio reported Thursday afternoon.
Thousands of Gaza protesters stormed the crossing demanding an end to the Israeli blockade.
"You will fall, your corrupt state will fall," the crowd chanted. Some of the protesters climbed poles to hoist Hamas flags and pro-Hamas songs played in the background.
Gunshots pierced the air and IDF troops fired tear gas to keep the protesters at bay. IDF tanks rumbled in the distance on the Israeli side of the border.
