A 21-year-old Rishon Lezion resident was arrested on Thursday morning on suspicion that he lit his neighbor's dog on fire.
The young man claimed that the dog's barking was interfering with his studying.
The dog was burned on her face and all over her body, and was hospitalized in serious condition at the Beit Dagan veterinary hospital.
The suspect admitted to the allegations against him.
