23,000 cancer cases diagnosed each year in Israel

According to statistics published on Tuesday by the Israel Cancer Association, 120,000 Israelis suffer from the disease. Furthermore, 23,000 new cases are diagnosed every year, including 500 children. The most common types of cancer among Israelis are breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer. The ICA published the statistics ahead of its annual door-to-door fundraising campaign.
