Nine people injured, three critically, after truck attempts illegal u-turn, slams into jeep.

Three people were killed, including a 62-year-old man, in a car accident on Route 6 early Sunday morning.
The fatal crash occurred when the driver of a truck transporting employees from Nazareth to their workplace in Ariel entered the Ben Shemen tunnel and performed an illegal u-turn after realizing he had missed his exit. The truck slammed into a jeep.
Nine people were injured in the crash, 3 of them critically, four seriously and 2 lightly.
The wounded were being treated at Asaf HaRofeh, Beilison and Tel Hashomer hospitals.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene by Magen David Adom teams while the two others later died of their injuries in hospital.
