Ayalon District Police on Monday arrested four teenagers from Bat Yam who were suspected of breaking into cars throughout the city. The four, aged 14 and 16, were caught when police received a report of youths throwing stones at an apartment and trying to break into a vehicle. Police claimed that the youths admitted during their interrogation that they had broken into dozens of cars over the past several months and slashed the tires when they couldn't find anything inside worth stealing. The suspects were released to house arrest.
