4-month-old baby hospitalized; police suspect father beat him

A four-month-old baby was hospitalized Tuesday at Rambam Hospital in Haifa with bruises to the head. According to suspicions, his 22-year-old father attacked him.
The baby was released to his mother's custody Wednesday.
Police arrested the father, who has a record of violence. He claimed that the baby had fallen.
He was expected to be remanded in court.
