  • - IDF kills three armed Islamic Jihad fugitives near Tulkarm who were planning attacks in Israel in coming days.
  • Friday afternoon
  • - Three Kassam rockets fired into Israel from northern Gaza and shots fired at an IDF patrol near the southern Gaza security fence.
  • 19:00
  • - Explosion in Hamas military parade in the Jabalya refugee camp kills 19. Israel denies involvement. PA concurs; Hamas blames Israel.
  • Before dawn Saturday
  • - Barrage of Kassam rockets fired from Gaza into Israeli communities, wounding four civilians.
  • 5:00
  • - IAF launches four separate strikes on open areas and buildings belonging to Hamas used to manufacture and store Kassam rockets. Three Palestinians reported wounded.
  • 8:00
  • - Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz convenes a security meeting to assess situation with top IDF and security echelon.
  • 12:00
  • - IAF hits Kassam rocket launching areas in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. No one wounded.
  • 12:30
  • - Another Kassam fired at Sderot.
  • 15:00
  • - IAF drops flyers on Gaza warning of consequences of rocket attacks.
  • 16:00
  • - IAF missile strike kills four Hamas terrorists traveling in two vehicles.
  • 17:30
  • - Another Kassam barrage fired at Sderot, two wounded.
  • 18:15
  • - IAF attacks open areas in Beit Hanoun used by terrorists to fire Kassams.

  • - Kassam lands near a kibbutz in the western Negev.
  • 23:55
  • - IAF missile strike hits weapons storage facilities near Khan Yunis.
