A 70-year-old Israeli man was arrested Monday after he was caught spray painting swastikas in central Jerusalem, police said.
The elderly Jewish suspect was taken into custody on the city's downtown King George Street after police caught him "red handed" defacing electricity poles, Jerusalem police spokeswoman Sigal Toledo said.
The motive for the graffiti - the latest in a series of such incidents in the city - was not immediately clear, but police said that it appeared he was mentally deranged.
