A 74-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured on Saturday night when he was hit by a car on Tel Aviv's Ibn Gvirol Street.
The man was evacuated to the city's Ichilov Hospital for treatment.
Army Radio reported that the driver fled the scene in his car but was later caught in Baka al-Gharbiya.
