An elderly jeweler was beaten up and subsequently wounded during a robbery at his store in Tel Aviv Sunday. 78-year-old Haim Peng was attacked by two young men who entered his Dizengoff Street shop on Sunday. They beat the jeweler and emptied the contents of his shop, leaving a trail of bloody footprints on the pavement as they fled. Peng's wife, Deborah, said this was the first robbery since the store was opened 57 years ago.
