80-year-old man, 4 others injured in 2 separate car accidents

An 80-year-old pedestrian was moderately injured after being hit by a truck on Monday morning in Ramat Hasharon. Emergency services took the victim to Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva.
Earlier, four people were injured, one critically, when a car flipped over on Highway 90 near the Mehola neighborhood in the northern Jordan valley.
The critically injured man was taken to Rambam hospital in Haifa. The other three were taken by ambulance to Ha'emek Hospital in Afula.
Police are investigating the circumstances of both incidents.
