A-Sana'a: Anti-terror bill 'turns political ideologies into crimes'

UAL faction chairman Taleb a-Sana'a on Sunday slammed the Knesset House Committee's approval of a bill which would give the interior minister the authority to cancel the citizenship or permanent residency status of anyone taking part in a terror activity or holding membership in a terror organization. "This is an illegal legislation that gives judicial authority to a ministry and turns political ideologies into crimes," he said. A-Sana'a added that the "popular legislation of the Right is endangering democracy."
