Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas stated on Wednesday that he would be willing to resume negotiations with Israel. "The way to peace is to sit together and not through killing and unilateral moves," he said.
Abbas's statement came one day after Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert expressed similar willingness to negotiate a permanent status agreement with the Palestinians, Army Radio reported.
