Jordan's King Abdullah stated on Monday that in order to achieve peace in the Middle East, Israel must relinquish its nuclear weapons, Army Radio reported. In an interview to the Spanish newspaper El Pais, Abdullah said that if the world was asking Iran to abstain from the development of nuclear weapons, it must ask other countries that have nuclear weapons to do the same. King Abdullah said that his country wished the Middle East to remain nuclear-weapon-free.
