Acre: 2 dead, 3 injured in traffic collision

According to initial police investigations, accident occurred when one of the vehicles entered intersection without stopping at a red traffic light.

Two men in their forties died and three others were injured in head-on collision between a minibus and private vehicle in Acre overnight Thursday.
Magen David Adom Asher crews pronounced the deaths of the two men from the private vehicle on arrival.

The three injured passengers from the minibus included a 56-year-old in stable but serious condition, and a man and woman in their fifties who were in light to moderate condition.
All of the wounded were evacuated to Nahariya Hospital.
According to initial police investigations, the accident occurred when one of the vehicles entered the intersection without stopping at the red traffic light. The private vehicle, with two passengers, arrived from the direction of Nahariya. The minibus was driving workers from Dir-el-Assad. As a result of the collision, the private vehicle flipped over and struck a traffic light post, killing two of its passengers.
