A 16-year-old Acre youth was in serious condition Monday morning after another youth from the city beat him.
He had wounds in his eyes, a broken jaw and several wounds throughout his body.
The suspected attacker was arrested Monday morning, Army Radio reported. A police investigation discovered that he attacked the youth several times in recent weeks for no apparent reason.
Police were seeking Monday to get a remand for the suspect, who was also a minor.
