Ahmed Tibi to leave Hadash

January 31, 2006 13:23

MK Ahmed Tibi and his Ta'al party are on the verge of leaving Hadash and moving to the party of the Islamic Movement (Northern Faction), Ra'am. On Monday night, Tibi and his entourage signed the agreement which would put Tibi in second place on Ra'am's electoral list. He is leaving the party after members insisted on Dov Hanin remaining in the third spot on their list, leaving Tibi one place below him. Once Tibi completes his move to Ra'am, he will have been a member of all three of the Arab parties currently sitting in the Knesset.
