The prime minister's chief of staff Yoram Turbovich and foreign policy advisor Shalom Turgeman met with Palestinian negotiators Saeb Erekat and Rafik el Husseini to discuss a meeting between Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian newspaper Al-Ayyam reported.
According to the report, no date for the meeting was set, because Israel announced that it would not negotiate with the PA on any issue until Cpl. Gilad Shalit is released.
