Yesha Council heads and Binyamin regional council early Wednesday morning sealed off the nine permanent structures in Amona in an attempt to prevent the outpost's evacuation.
The settlers also reportedly intended on submitting a petition to the High Court of Justice asking it to rule against the Amona's razing; they claimed that once the structures have been sealed, no one would live in them, and hence there was no need to remove them, Army Radio reported.
On Tuesday, Halutz vowed to have the illegal outpost cleared by next week.
