An Arab Israeli was moderately wounded after being shot in his stomach after a fight broke out between Arabs and Jews in Lod on Saturday night, Israel Radio reported. According to the report, the fight erupted after Arab residents asked Jewish residents to lower the volume of music they claimed was playing loudly. Several participants pulled out knives after the request to lower the music was denied. The father of one of the Jewish residents, who worked as a security guard, withdrew his firearm and began firing shots into the air, ultimately leading to the wounding of the Arab man. Police have detained the father, as well as some of the young men for questioning.
