The owner of Haifa's Habamah Art School, Yosef Hirsch, was arrested Tuesday on suspicion that he embezzled thousands of shekels from the institution.
The money had been paid to the school by applicants for admission.
He is also suspected of cheating several art teachers out of their wages.
