An autopsy will be performed on Thursday morning on the body of inmate Yoni Alzam who was found dead in his cell at the Ashmoret Prison earlier this week.
This after the High Court of Justice on Wednesday evening rejected a petition filed by his family.
Alzam was found dead a day before he was to take to the stand and testify against Shimon Zrihan, a convicted criminal.
Alzam likely died by poisoning although it is still unknown whether he was murdered or had committed suicide.
