The Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem sent a letter to the IDF's Judge Advocate General on Wednesday demanding that he open a Military Police investigation into the circumstances of the death of five family members who were killed during an IAF air strike in Beit Hanun on Monday. According to the organization, an analysis of the area, photographs of bodies and eyewitness accounts all raise doubts about the IDF Spokesperson's version of the events. The IDF had said that it targeted a Palestinian gunmen, and that a secondary explosion caused by bombs which he was carrying is what killed the family. B'Tselem called on the IDF Spokesperson's office to publish all the material in IDF hands that documents the incident, especially the UAV photos, which could prove or refute this claim.
