The four-month-old grandson of MK Meshulam Nahari (Shas) was found dead in his crib in his parents' Beit Shemesh apartment on Thursday afternoon.
After the baby's mother tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate him, paramedics, who were then called to the apartment, declared him dead at the scene.
It was the third instance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome in Beit Shemesh in the last six months.
