Balad party leader MK Azmi Bishara and Balad MKs Jamal Zahalka and Wasel Taha met with new Jordanian Prime Minister Ma'arouf Bakheet in his office in Amman on Saturday. Bakheet promised he would negotiate for the resumption of diplomatic talks between Israelis and Palestinians and the implementation of the road map with the goal of creating a Palestinian state and ending the occupation. Bakheet told the delegation that the creation of a Palestinian state is a Jordanian interest as much as it is Palestinian one, said Bereqdar.
