Interior Minister Roni Bar-On responded Thursday to Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin's remarks that local government in northern Israel collapsed during the war in Lebanon.
Bar-On called Diskin's remarks "nonsense," adding during a tour of Nahariya with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that Diskin "should have heard what [northern] mayors had to say about preparedness on the home front."
