Interior Minister Roni Bar-On has asked Attorney General Menahem Mazuz to look into an emergency law that would allow him to prevent Arab Knesset members from traveling to Lebanon and Syria. Bar-On told Israel Radio Thursday morning that MKs who travel to enemy states were endangering national security. MK Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List) said Bar-On views Israeli Arabs as "conditional citizens," and that his attempt to bar their travel sent a dangerous message.
