Barak congratulates Livni on being entrusted with forming gov't

Defense Minister and Labor chairman Ehud Barak phoned new Kadima leader Tzipi Livni on Monday night and congratulated her on the president's decision to entrust her with the task of forming a government.
The Labor chairman hailed Livni's call for a national unity government and called on opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu to join, read a statement released by Barak's office.
