Barak expects next elections to take place in 2008

Labor leader Ehud Barak believes the next elections will take palce in 2008, Army Radio reported on Monday morning. Speaking at a Labor gathering on Sunday night, Barak said that "despite the latest reports, which indicate a rise in the prime minister's status, this must be the year of revolution." At another gathering at the home of National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, Labor members declared, "Next year in Balfour 3" - the address of the prime minister's residence in Jerusalem.
