A 50-year-old Beit Shemesh man was found murdered in his home Tuesday in a criminally-motivated attack, police said. The victim, David Ben-Hamo, was discovered by police and firefighters who had been summoned to his home in the wee hours of the morning due to a fire. A 43-year-old resident of Beit Shemesh was arrested later in the day on suspicion of involvement in the murder. He was remanded in custody by a Beit Shemesh court for six days. Police suspect that the man was murdered over a drug feud.
