New Housing and Construction Minister Ze'ev Boim stated that Amona - the outpost that was being cleared was clearly illegal.
Responding to reports by settlers that his ministry approved and funded the outpost, Boim said he had not seen such documents.
"What is being tested here is the rule of law," the Kadima minister stated in an interview to Army Radio.
