Deputy Minister of Kadima Ze'ev Boim said Sunday in an interview to Israel Radio that he expected someone of Shimon Peres' stature to support Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as head of Kadima. Boim said he believed that Olmert was the best person to fill Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's place in the party. When asked about the possibility of Ehud Barak joining Kadima, Boim said that such a move on Barak's part could be seen as exploiting a political opportunity, and not a decision based on his belief in the party's views.
