3.1 million Israeli citizens hold driver's licenses, according to figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Sunday.
The statistics show a rise of some 3% compared to last year, with women comprising some 40% of Israeli drivers. One out of every ten drivers received their license within the past two years, and is classified a new driver.
