Cabinet authorizes reform to unemployment benefit

The government authorized Sunday reforms to the unemployment benefit program, the "Wisconsin Plan." Unemployed citizens over the age of 45 will not receive the benefit. Three ministers, including Welfare and Social Services Minister Isaac Herzog, opposed the reforms.
