Cabinet considers prohibiting Israelis from traveling to Sinai

The Security Cabinet convened Wednesday morning to discuss the option of issuing a blanket ban that would prohibit Israelis from traveling to Sinai.
Army Radio said that a large part of the meeting was to be dedicated to the warning published by the Anti-Terror Bureau ahead of the holiday season, according to which terror groups associated with al-Qaida and groups with ties to Hizbullah were planning collaborate in an effort to kidnap Israelis from Sinai and take them to the Gaza Strip.
