Camel runs amok on major highway, attacks worker

A camel ran amok early Wednesday afternoon on the Route 6 toll road near Nitzanei Oz, causing traffic jams and endangering motorists, National Traffic Police said. The camel also attempted to bite a highway supervisor who tried to apprehend the animal. Four police patrol cars were dispatched to the scene and forced the camel to the shoulders of the road.
