Chief rabbi's son sentenced to 32 months in prison

Meir Amar, the son of Israel's Chief Sephardic rabbi, was sentenced Tuesday morning to 32 months in prison for abducting and physically abusing a 17-year-old youth who had dated Amar's sister.
Amar was also ordered to pay the youth NIS 35,000 in compensation, Army Radio reported.
