A child was killed and another wounded Tuesday evening while playing with an unidentified explosive device, possibly a Kasssam that failed to detonate, in an open area near Nevatim.
The dead child, an eight-year-old, died shortly after a medical unit arrived on the scene. The other, six years old, sustained light injuries.
