The committee assigned to electing judges was set to convene Thursday to discuss the termination Judge Hila Cohen's employment. Cohen was charged with forging court protocols.
The committee, headed by Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, was expected to approve the termination. They had previously called upon Cohen to resign, but she refused.
Israel Radio reported that the judge requested additional time to call witnesses, and so the committee might not vote on the matter on Thursday.
