State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss is expected to recommend early next week that Attorney-General Menahem Mazuz place Prime Minister Ehud Olmert under criminal investigation for his alleged involvement in the illicit sale of Bank Leumi shares, Channel 10 reported Thursday evening. Earlier this week, the State Comptroller's office published allegations that Olmert committed bribery offenses in the course of a sale of a majority share in the bank. Mazuz has authority to decide whether to prosecute Olmert.
