Court rejects Sderot petition demanding gov't funds for faster protection

The High Court of Justice on Monday rejected a petition filed by dozens of Sderot residents to allow them to protect their own houses with government reimbursement instead of waiting for the timetable set by the government to take effect.
The judges decided not to intervene in the case, but requested that the government speed up their plans in light of the danger faced by Sderot residents.
