Police launched a criminal investigation against Health Minister Dani Naveh on suspicion of carrying out illegal appointments in the Health Ministry and Magen David Adom.
According to Army Radio, the national fraud unit probe was a result of a scathing report by State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss.
Naveh said he did not even know about the investigation and denied that he had made any such appointments.
