Two members of the same family - a father and his daughter - were killed Friday evening in a large explosion in an apartment on Rehov Eshel Avraham, in Ramat Hasharon, north of Tel Aviv, Israel Radio reported.
Two other family members were also injured in the explosion, the cause of which was still unknown. MDA teams treated the two, who were both reported to be in good condition.
Police teams arrived at the scene and evacuated nearby residents from their houses. Firefighters were combating a blaze that broke out at the scene.
